About The Event

The horrific shooting that occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, has left our community in a state of anger and sadness with the loss of seventeen people and those who have been injured. Once again, in the wake of senseless and devastating gun violence, we mourn, we come together, we offer words of condolence – and we ask how we can prevent these tragedies from happening again?

Leviticus tells us, “Do not stand idly by while your neighbor bleeds.” Be part of the movement to prevent gun violence.

Please join us for a Jewish community conversation with elected officials, rabbis, and community leaders to discuss methods to prevent gun violence and keep our children and communities safe.

As Hillel says, “If not now, when?”
